Day 1: Arrival to Venice
Arrival to Venice. Check in at the hotel. Free day. Available on request transport package including train from Milan, Naples, Florence, Rome, Bologna and private transfer from Venezia Santa Lucia station to the hotel and vice versa for the day of departure.
Day 2: Gondola ride- Glass workshop
The day begins with a gondola ride lasting approximately 30 minutes. You will have the opportunity to change perspective and explore Venice from the water by gliding along its canals starting from Piazza San Marco and traveling along the Grand Canal to the iconic Teatro della Fenice. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon there will be a short demonstration of glass processing in a Venetian glass factory. The visit is completely free and has the aim of bringing you into contact with what is one of the oldest arts of the Venetian glass masters. At the end of the short demonstration there will be the possibility of receiving a small artisan souvenir. Free evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Venice walking tour- St. Mark Basilica
The morning will be dedicated to discovering the wonders of Venice. Your guide will first take you on a walking tour through the "calli", as the typical narrow streets and alleys of the historic center are called. The route will unfold in a labyrinthine way and you will have the opportunity to cross the small canals and see the gondolas slide beneath you. You will pass in front of the historic Teatro della Fenice, the Campo di San Zaccaria, the Arsenal until you arrive in Piazza San Marco where, in addition to admiring the Campanile and the enchanting Basilica of San Marco from the outside, you will have the opportunity to enter one of the Byzantine Basilicas most beautiful in history. The guide will explain the history of this enchanting Basilica while you get lost among the splendor of the golden mosaics that cover it. Spend the rest of the day and evening at leisure or alternatively enjoy a New Year's Eve dinner available as an optional option. Overnight at Hotel.
