Once in Assisi you can visit the city on your own and choose to enter the basilica of San Francesco, one of the most beautiful basilicas in Italy, the Basilica of Santa Chiara and the convent of San Damiano and you can take a walk in the narrow streets of this small but delightful town.

After lunch you will return to the bus and be taken to the walled city of Spello, on the slopes of Mount Subasio. From here you can admire the view of the plains, olive groves and vineyards of Umbria. Here you will have the chance to taste the local wines and olive oil and if your tour happens on a market day you will be able to admire the picturesque village market.

You will also make a stop in the small village of Collepino, once a settlement of shepherds and woodcutters nestled in the woods between Assisi and Spello. Back to Perugia. Departure.
