The day will begin with the discovery of the two gastronomic excellences of the Parma area: Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano. The tour starts with a visit to a dairy factory where you will witness the different stages of Parmigiano Reggiano production.

It will be possible to watch the extraction of the new wheels of Parmesan, visit the brine room and the maturing warehouse. At the end of the itinerary, you will be able to taste different cheese ages accompanied by local wine.

Afterwards, you will move to the village of Langhirano where the Parma ham is born. After an introduction to the territory, you will visit the production rooms of the ham factory and the maturing rooms. The morning will begin with a private tour of the historic center of Parma lasting about two and a half hours that will take you to discover the major architectural beauties of the city. Starting from Palazzo Pilotta you will continue towards the Farnese Theatre, the Roman Bridge, Piazza Garibaldi and the Church of Santa Maria della Steccata until you get to admire the beauty of the Cathedral and the Baptistery. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon there will be a visit to a local winery.  After reaching the estate by bus, the owners will welcome you for a tour of the vineyard and cellars with an explanation of the winemaking process, and after the visit you can taste the wines of their production. Return to Parma. Dinner on your own and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3:

The day will begin with the discovery of the two gastronomic excellences of the Parma area: Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano. The tour starts with a visit to a dairy factory where you will witness the different stages of Parmigiano Reggiano production.

It will be possible to watch the extraction of the new wheels of Parmesan, visit the brine room and the maturing warehouse. At the end of the itinerary, you will be able to taste different cheese ages accompanied by local wine.

Afterwards, you will move to the village of Langhirano where the Parma ham is born. After an introduction to the territory, you will visit the production rooms of the ham factory and the maturing rooms. At the end of the visit you will taste Parma ham aged 24 months with homemade bread and wine from the Parma hills. Back to Parma. Departure.
