Full-day tour to discover the pearls of the Salento coast. You will be driven by bus along the Adriatic and Ionian coasts until you arrive in Otranto, the first stop on our tour. Otranto is rich in history and every corner exudes the passage of different civilizations, including the Romans, the Ottomans and the Aragonese. You will have free time to visit the Cathedral, the Byzantine church of St. Peter, the Castle, the Bastions of the Pelasgians and the walls that once surrounded the city. Afterwards, you will continue the excursion to Santa Maria di Leuca. On the way, you will also see Santa Cesarea Terme, Castro Marina and the Ciolo fjord. Once arrived to Santa Maria di Leuca, you will see the point where the Ionian and Adriatic rivers meet. From this point you will have a spectacular view of the port and the Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Finibus Terrae. You will continue the tour along the coast to Gallipoli, the pearl of the Ionian Sea. This ancient Greek city is divided into two zones, the more modern village and the old town. Fun fact: the old part is located on a limestone island connected to the mainland by a bridge.
