Day 1: Arrival to Rome
Arrival to Rome. Check-in at the hotel. Transport package including high-speed train from the main Italian cities and private transfer from the station to the hotel and vice versa available on request. Free time. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: Vatican city- Vatican Museums- Sistine Chapel- St. Peter Church- Roman squares and centre tour The guide will show you the guided group tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. The visit lasting approximately 3 hours will retrace the most well-known and important rooms of the Vatican Museums, culminating in the Sistine Chapel, a jewel of inestimable artistic value, symbol of Italian art in the world. At the end of the route within the Vatican walls you will pass directly into the Basilica through the direct entrance without further queues where the guide will tell you the history of the capital of Christianity. After the visit, lunch will be free. In the afternoon, a private walking tour of approximately 2 hours is planned to discover the most famous squares and monuments of Rome: Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon (also visit from inside). The guide will be entirely at your disposal for any curiosity you may have.
Day 3: Colloseum- Roman Forum- Palatine Hill- Jubilee opening ceremony- Christmas dinner
The morning will begin with a guided group tour inside the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The visit lasting approximately 3 hours will allow you to discover the places that were once the beating heart of the Roman Empire. Through the guide's explanations you will be able to reconstruct the places in your mind and imagine the fervor that passed through these places, the cradle of modern-day Rome. The last stage of the visit will be the entrance to the Colosseum, symbol of Rome in the world. The guide will reveal the history of the most famous Arena in the world and will make us relive the history of the Roman Gladiators. Lunch after the visit will be free. In the afternoon we suggest attending the opening ceremony of the 2025 Jubilee. The opening of the Holy Door is scheduled for Christmas Eve in a ceremony that will begin at 4:00 pm (unless modified by pontifical provisions). In the evening you can enjoy your Christmas dinner in a prestigious restaurant in the center near the Pantheon. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Free day- Welcome to Rome experience
Free morning. In the afternoon we suggest continuing the itinerary independently by attending the multimedia show "Welcome to Rome". Through 3D reconstructions and a cinema projection you will be able to see the places visited in the morning in their original appearance and to retrace the entire history of the Capital in a fun and usable way. Free evening and dinner. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Free day- Departure
