TURIN AND MONFERRATO IN HISTORIC WINE -TRAIN

Day 1: ARRIVAL TO TURIN- CHOCOLATE FACTORY TOUR AND CHOCOLATE TASTING

Arrival in Turin. Free transfer to the hotel. Available on request train connection to Turin from Rome, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Naples and private transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon you will have the chance to visit  the Gobino artisan chocolate laboratory, an excellence in Piedmontese chocolate tradition. During the visit lasting about an hour you will be able to witness the production process and you will conclude the visit with a home-made chocolate tasting. Free evening. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: TURIN WALKING TOUR

The morning will begin with a 2-hour guided tour to discover the enchanting city of Turin. The first stop of the guided tour will be Piazza San Carlo, a scenic square also known as the "living room", given that in the past, many intellectuals and historians met here to work or discuss projects. The guide will show you some of the most famous sites in the square such as the large baroque "twin churches". Next you will reach the suggestive Piazza Carignano, famous for its incredible architecture and beauty, which in 1997 was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Next, you will stop in Piazza Castello, probably the most famous square in all of Turin. Here you can find the most important symbolic places of the city, including Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Madama and the Church of San Lorenzo. You will discover the historical importance of these places, but you will also learn to appreciate the numerous historic cafés that line this square, making it truly one of a kind. Finally, to end your tour in the best possible way, don't miss a stop at the Mole Antonelliana, the symbol of Turin. Free lunch. You can enjoy the rest of the day to freely continue your exploration of the center or to visit one of the beautiful museums of the city from the Cinema museum to the Egyptian museum, from the Royal Palace to the Juventus stadium (for football fans!). Day 3: ENO-TRAIN DAY TOUR TO CANELLI

The day will be entirely dedicated to the wonderful and unique experience of the wine train: the only historic train direct from Turin to the territories of the Langhe and Monferrato in the name of a day of immersion in these unique territories, in their UNESCO sites and in their renowned and prized food and wine tradition. Departure is scheduled from Turin Porta Nuova station at 9:00 in a historic vintage train. Once you arrive in Canelli, local guides will accompany you to discover the town and the famous Underground Cathedrals where the visit will be accompanied by a tasting of local wines and sparkling wines. The day will continue with a typical lunch in a local tavern and after lunch, exclusively for tour participants, there will be the opportunity to visit the beautiful Canelli Gardens during an extraordinary opening. At the end of the tour, return by train to Turin at 7.30pm. Free evening. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: FREE TIME- DEPARTURE

Take advantage of the free day to continue your exploration of the city or its surroundings. Free departure. Transfer to the station and return by train available on request at a supplement.
