Day 1: ARRIVAL TO SAN GIMIGNANO
Arrival to San Gimignano, check-in at the hotel. Free time.
Day 2: GRAPE HARVEST- TASTING- LUNCH
The morning will begin with a unique experience: that of the grape harvest in the vineyards of Tenuta Torciano. Accompanied by an expert who will explain the various steps of the production process of one of the most well-known and appreciated wines in the world, you will walk along the olive groves and try your hand at harvesting the raw material essential for the production of the renowned local wine. At the end of the walk you will return to the estate where a full-bodied tasting of the company's products (oil and wine) and an excellent lunch based on local products awaits you. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Free dinner. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: CETONA AND SAN CASCIANO AI BAGNI
The morning will be dedicated to the discovery of two enchanting villages in Valdichiana and their respective typical products: Cetona and San Casciano dei Bagni: two villages belonging to the circuit of the "Most beautiful villages in Italy". The first stop of the tour is Cetona, recognizable for its ancient fortress, built during the Middle Ages. After crossing Piazza Garibaldi to the circular tower, you will walk along the alleys that lead to Piazza della Collegiata, where there is a well with cistern and, furthermore, a spectacular panoramic view. You will visit a historic artisan workshop and taste the excellence of Cetona's typical product: extra virgin olive oil. The second stop is San Casciano dei Bagni, the last Tuscan bastion before entering Lazio. The tower of the castle, which dominates the historic center from above, gives the village a fairy-tale profile. Piazza Matteotti is in the heart of San Casciano dei Bagni: from here you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view that embraces the entire surrounding valley. You will walk through the narrow alleys up to the Collegiate Church of San Leonardo, then you will return to the starting point crossing the square with the well. At the end of this second guided tour, you can taste the prized Cinta Senese DOP, the typical two-coloured Tuscan pig. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: DEPARTURE
Enjoy the day on your own to explore the surroundings. Departure.
